A simple way forward.
Perfume oils are personal care products. A lightly used bottle that is at least 95% full may qualify for a refund to the original payment method or store credit after review, whichever you prefer. Please contact us before mailing anything back so we can guide you through the next step.
Write to us
Email hello@ancientwellness.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, the item, and a short explanation.
Wait for approval
We will review your request and send return instructions and an address if your item qualifies. Do not mail a return before receiving those instructions.
Pack with care
Include the original packaging when possible. Pack the approved item securely and keep your shipping receipt and tracking number.
Eligibility
What qualifies
Request a return within 7 days of delivery and contact us before mailing anything back. The perfume oil must be at least 95% full, not heavily used, altered, or intentionally damaged. Include your order number or proof of purchase and the original packaging whenever possible.
A lightly used bottle that meets these conditions may be approved after review. Products below 95% full, final-sale items, gift cards, and returns requested outside the applicable window are not eligible, except where required by law.
Refunds & credit
Choose your resolution
For an approved standard return, choose a refund to the original payment method or store credit. We inspect the item after it arrives and email you the outcome. Original shipping charges are not refundable except when required by law or when the return results from our fulfillment error.
If we issue a refund to your original payment method, your bank or card provider may take additional time to post it.
Order issues
Damaged or incorrect
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description, and clear photos of the product and shipping packaging when applicable.
Keep the item and packaging until the claim is reviewed. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or a refund, and we will provide return instructions if needed.
Return shipping
Shipping & costs
Customers pay any return shipping cost for approved standard returns. When a return is required because we sent an incorrect item or it arrived damaged or defective, we will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs after review.
International customers also pay any applicable customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or similar return charges unless the return is due to our error or otherwise required by law. International shipping charges and import fees are generally not refundable.
Timing
What happens next
We aim to reply to return requests within 2 business days. Once an approved return reaches us, allow up to 5 business days for inspection and a decision. We will email you when your refund or store credit is approved.
Please wait for our return instructions before sending an item back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
Other requests
Exchanges & cancellations
Approved exchanges depend on product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we may offer store credit or another appropriate resolution.
Contact us promptly to change or cancel an order. Once it has entered fulfillment or shipped, we may be unable to change or cancel it.
These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
